EDMR Therapy

What is EDMR?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

It is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or distressing life experiences, one of 2 recommended by the World Health Organisation.

It is an effective form of therapy across many areas including PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and addictions, pain, chronic illness, grief and other stress and trauma related issues.
Simple techniques such as bilateral eye movements, tapping and audio stimulation help awaken your body’s natural coping mechanisms and unblock your stagnant emotions so you can reprogram your mind and gain a new perspective.

Small Group Therapy

Small group EMDR sessions are a a supportive, lower-cost way to experience this well-researched, evidence-based approach.

In these 90-minute sessions, you’ll focus quietly on your own healing or future goals, without needing to share personal details with the group.

You’re welcome to come to as many or as few sessions as you need, whether you’re working through past experiences or simply looking for a boost of encouragement and resilience for what’s ahead.

It’s a gentle, guided space to help you feel lighter, clearer, and more hopeful - at your own pace.
